Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Export Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Export Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our export operations, ensuring timely delivery of our high-quality footballs to customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Export Documentation: Prepare and manage all export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with shipping companies and freight forwarders to arrange shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with international customers to provide updates on order status, shipment schedules, and any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for export orders and coordinate with the production team to meet demand.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for export and assist in developing strategies to enter new markets.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on export activities, including sales performance, shipment status, and market trends.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in export management or international trade, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of export procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
